Present in high value technology markets such as avionics, space, defense, railway and medical, the first issue for Nicomatic is to design, manufacture and deliver a quality product with the main objective being customer satisfaction.
On highly competitive markets Nicomatic has always placed quality in the first place as a key success factor for his product developments.
The company which already had an ISO 9001:2000 certificate since 1999, has taken a new direction with the aim of completing a new certificate: EN9100 in the aeronautics.
It is in November 2009, that the certifying company Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance LRQA has recommended Nicomatic for the ISO EN9100:2003 certificate. This certificate is a good referential to the avionics and space activities. Indeed, the aerospace industry is clustered inside the IAQG (International Aerospace Quality Group) and has for many years worked on the harmonization of the worldwide suppliers in this field. Now, the certificate is a passport to anyone involved in the aerospace business. That said, being certified is not an easy task and it takes a long process of external auditing, assessments and validations to become a certified company.
Nicomatic succeeded in obtaining the maximum mark of 100/100 which is very rare and uncommon for a first evaluation. The company is now a member of the OASIS (Online Aerospace Supplier Information System) and counts among the very few connector companies that benefit from the norm. "Only a few companies reach such an excellent mark and I would like to congratulate the whole Nicomatic team for this result," said Olivier Nicollin, CEO. "It is also the result of more than a year of hard work that is visible today", adds the company CEO.
Moreover, Nicomatic has received the renewal of its ISO9001:2008 certificate for the efficiency and the conformity of all processes of its Management Quality System.
