The use of male solder tabs is aimed at I.C. sockets, wipe contacts with single or double point, directly soldered onto PCB or with 0.8mm(in 2.54mm pitch) and 0,5mm thru-holes(in 1.27mm pitch). NICOMATIC delivers:
CRIMPFLEX® 2.54mm range
-Standard short male solder tabs 10141: widely used in applications with restricted crimped areas requiring male solder tabs to solder or to fit into I.C. sockets or wipe contacts (length on support=3.4mm length after cutting = 7.6mm) -Standard short male solder tabs 10241: widely used in applications on flexible supports requiring male solder tabs to solder or to fit into I.C. sockets or wipe contacts (length on support=6mm length after cutting = 10.4mm) -Retention short male solder tabs 10067 : the crimped section is shorter to comply with high density packaging requirements (for use in tight fitting applications - length on support=3.4mm length after cutting = 7.6mm) -Retention male solder tabs 10167 : the curved shape ensures firm holding of the contacts in the printed circuit and provides retention during wave-soldering (length on support=6mm &eagrave; length after cutting = 10.4mm) -Double retention male solder tabs 12887 : each pin is formed in an opposite direction to give excellent retention during soldering (length on support=6mm length after cutting = 10.2mm) -Long male solder tab 11612 : the long solder tab allows to connect in screw terminal blocks and is mainly used for connections to EL lamps.
CRIMPFLEX® 1.27mm range
- Male solder tab 16069-12, tin plated, reel-fed.
