Nicomatic is certified ISO9001:2008 and EN9100:2009.

The company products are compliant with the european REACH and RoHS directives and regulations.

In order to better reply to the high technology & electronics market requirements, the management refers to EN9100 certificate to build its quality system.

The control of all steps to market a product is a guarantee for our clients to find an adapted solution to their needs.

The constant will to improve quality is ensuring a long term development and growth for all NICOMATIC partners. The company management is highly involved to implement this policy with the support of every member of the NICOMATIC group.

Quality commitment

The NICOMATIC Quality policy is represented by the commitment of the directors and the involvement of the whole team. It is implemented through "quality objectives".

Nicomatic is committed to ensure constant quality levels at each stage of the production process. Thanks to a vertical integration strategy, it is possible to enhance and master the company means. Nicomatic benefits from various know how such as screw machining, cutting, machining, moulding, production and assembly. We also rely on a network of sub-contractors whose capacities are recognized and approved by Nicomatic.

We have developed a connector expertise thanks to a strong industrial competence and thanks to a strong R&D and an integrated test and analysis laboratory.

The Quality policy is updated at each management review. It defines the orientation for all activities concerned by an improvement or the activities that are under a special surveillance. Its implementation is directly under the responsibility of the process leaders.

Environmental commitment

Nicomatic products are in compliance with european directives and regulations.

REACH:

The main aims of REACH are to ensure a high level of protection of human health and the environment from the risks that can be posed by chemicals, the promotion of alternative test methods, the free circulation of substances on the internal market and enhancing competitiveness and innovation.

REACH makes industry responsible for assessing and managing the risks posed by chemicals and providing appropriate safety information to their users. In parallel, the European Union can take additional measures on highly dangerous substances, where there is a need for complementing action at EU level.

NICOMATIC products do not contain the SVHC substances as describes in the ECHA list.

RoHS:

The european directive RoHS (2002/95/CE) restricts the use of six hazardous materials in the manufacture of various types of electronic and electrical equipment. RoHS means Restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment.

RoHS is often referred to as the lead-free directive, but it restricts the use of the following six substances:

1. Lead (Pb)
2. Mercury (Hg)
3. Cadmium (Cd)
4. Hexavalent chromium (Cr⁶⁺)
5. Polybrominated biphenyls (PBB)
6. Polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE)

All NICOMATIC products are RoHS compatible since January 1st, 2005.

As stated in article 5, paragraph 1, point a), a tolerance of the maximum concentration of 0,1% lead by weight is accepted inside the homogeneous materials. All NICOMATIC part numbers have a concentration inferior to this tolerance, but are not 0% lead free.
