A number of new additions & options completes our CMM catalogue printed November 2010, & May 2011.
Fixings information:
- HO1C for CMM320: connection with a new captive screw for straight PCB assemblies (coming from OMM micro-circular connectors development). The captive screw facilitates interconnection making it simple, more comfortable for the user and secure as you do not screw at the same time as you interconnect.
- F24L: New function for use on CMM220 series and thicker cards like multi-layer PCBs (PCBs from 4mm to 6mm & SMT contacts type T / TL). The existing F24
is appropriate for PCB thicknesses ranging from 1.5 to 4mm.
- M49 / M49L / M49H: 100% racking fixing with 1.5mm diameter & 6.5mm length for Y, YL, T, S & C
terminations (straight PCB, SMT & cable). Perfect guiding before
connection. Recommended for female CMM220 series & available in 3
versions M49 standard, M49L longer et M49H with hex screw.
- F62 / F62L / F62LH / F62H: new female racking fixings with 1.6mm diameter & 6.5mm width. For contacts type Y, YL, T, S & C. Allows mating with new male fixings above (M49 type).
- F63 / F63L: based on the same principle as M21 & M21L but made for male housings as reverse fixing.
For V - R - S - C - E (D : 90°), F63L => VL - R - S - C - E (D :
90°). For PCBs 1.6mm (F63) or 3.2mm thick (F63L) & mating with M46
& M47 fixings. Reverse fixings make it easier for the designer to put
the female on the PCB and male on cable or flex rigid PCB, in case of
constructions where the current comes from a PCB and out.
- Addition of a new washer option under « W » code (eg. CMM P/N 221Y10F26W) & new mention for recommended torque = 0,2 N/m except 0,4 N/m for M46/M47 fixings.
- Update of C14743 screwdriver with a more ergonomic handle and addition of a new option for a dynamometric screwdriver specifically
designed for low torques (including bits & adjusting key). This new
function is available upon request for more precise adjustments of
male/female fixings.
Contacts & tools information:
- Addition of new HP contacts to crimp P/N 22-33xx* & 22-43xx* (series 22 HP contacts for CMM340 series micro-connectors) & P/N 30-33xx* & 30-43xx* (series 30 HP contacts for CMM220 & CMM320 series micro-connectors (crimping by point in HP 30 & 22) as well as new crimping instructions IC30HP02 & IC22HP02.
*xx needs to be replaced by the appropriate amperage
- New AF8 crimping tool for HP contacts (series 22 & 30) & new positioners
Good to know: HX3 tool is now only used for the
crimping of HF contacts. The previous C14923 crimp dies for HP contacts
used on HX3 are no longer available in the product catalogue, as well as
the C14922 stops. The new AF8 tool covers all HP contacts crimping.
- Addition of straight SMT HF contacts 30-1600 & 30-2600 for CMM220
- Addition of straight SMT HP contacts 30-3600 & 30-4600 and HP 30-3500 & 30-4500 in 90° SMT version.
- Update of C13997 tool (for insertion/extraction of HP/HF contacts) with a new accessory for male & female HP 22 series contacts insertion.
