Nicomatic North America is re-locating to a new design and manufacturing facility during the second quarter of 2018, expanding their work space by 10,000 square feet. You can easily find the building at 450 Progress Drive in Horsham, Pennsylvania located just a few minutes from Pennsylvania Turnpike Willow Grove Exit 343.
Construction is already underway and Nicomatic North America has hired Kimmel Bogrette, a well-respected, award-winning design firm, as the architecture company. Penntex Construction Company has been selected to retrofit the old Horsham Postal Distribution Center into what will be known as Nicomatic’s new home.
The additional square footage will bring an expanded research & development area, larger testing capabilities, an on-site gym, and a relaxation room to promote employee health. Employee collaboration and engagement will be enhanced with an open floor plan to promote open lines of communication and further develop their liberated leadership culture.
On January 1st, 1998 Nicomatic North America opened its doors as a sales office with just three employees and a desire to grow their presence in the Americas. Introducing many customers to their innovative CrimpFlexTM interconnect technology, Switch’AirTM 4-legged metal dome and creative pick and place technology, Nicomatic North America ended 1998 with $150,000 in sales.
In the following 20 years, Nicomatic North America has grown to a design and manufacturing facility generating over $10 million in sales with 50 plus employees.
